- You must choose 10 foods (or dishes) which you will eat for the rest of your life
- You don't have to worry about good nutrition
- You don't have to worry about weight gain/loss
- If you choose a complete dish then that is how you will always eat it, (you can't separate out the ingredients to make a different meal)
- Choose carefully, this is forever...
- Have fun.
My choices would be:
- The best Ploughman's ever, really good homebaked bread, butter, excellent cheese, pickle, pickled onion, crisp salad..
- A creamy mushroom risotto
- Chocolate concrete pudding (made just as they used to make it at school, way back in the dark ages) with lashings of custard
- Slow roasted shallots, garlic and cherry tomatoes
- Beautifully cooked seasonal vegetables/seaweed - asparagus, samphire, etc
- A platter of fruits - especially mango, blackcurrants, raspberries, really good heritage English apples, etc
- Poached eggs on toast
- A really good lemon pudding of some variety - sharp and refreshing
- Fairtrade chocolate with orange and spices
- Hmmn I'll have to think about this one
